Baby Lounge with Pierce County Family Connects & Madrona PT!

2nd Friday of Each Month at 1:30pm! Upcoming: Dec. 13th @ 1:30pm.

Bring yourself, your baby, and build community! During a baby lounge gathering, you will be able to ask a health professional your questions and meet other new parents in Pierce County in a safe environment. Pregnant / expecting families and families with children ages 0-1 are welcome!

For our December meeting, Dr. Angie will give information on healthy bowel movements in post-partum! Not so surprisingly, having the first BM after baby can feel intimidating. We'll dive into how the pelvic floor, hormones, stress, and nutrition all intertwine to impact bowel health.

Baby Friendly Postpartum Workout Group

Every Wednesday @ 11:15am!

Want to get back into exercise after baby, but not sure where to start? Want to maintain your health safely while pregnant?

Join us at Madrona for perinatal friendly circuit training with Dr. Sara Sampson, PT, DPT! Dr. Sara is an athlete, and new mom herself, who understand the importance of returning to activity safely after baby and staying active while navigating pregnancy changes. Stations will include low impact but high intensity cardio, weight lifting and core training.

One of the many benefits of small group exercise is that movements can be easily scaled and individualized so you get the benefits of working out with others, while having your session work best for you.

Jump in to your first class with us before the end of the year, and receive 50% of your session! That’s just $10 to get in an effective and fun workout without worrying about impacting your pelvic floor.
