Welcoming a child can be a complete body and mind transformation that leaves you feeling like you're navigating uncharted territory. You might find that the reality of parenthood looks very different from what you expected. Whether it’s having your first child or adding more to your crew, suddenly things are a bit off. While many of us experience the "baby blues" - those rapidly changing moods, tearfulness, and overwhelming feelings that can hit in the first couple of weeks after giving birth - if these symptoms persist past the first two weeks, it could be a sign of something more serious. It's crucial to recognize that these feelings are not your fault and that seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness. Support can take many forms; a group can be one way to start!
We’ll cover a ride range of topics together over the course of the 6 week series. This group is perfect for moms in their first year of parenthood, but it's also a great fit for those who are a bit further along if they haven't yet addressed their mental health needs or want ongoing support. Whether you're dealing with immediate postpartum challenges or reflecting on past experiences, we're here to support you. You can expect a supportive community of fellow moms who get it, and practical tools to enhance your mental well-being and relationships.
