Madrona Physical Therapy is searching for a pelvic health/women’s health therapist to join our team in Tacoma, WA. The ideal candidate finds deep satisfaction in helping and supporting women in the community.

Madrona’s Premiere Care Model™ includes;

A highly personalized plan of care developed and implemented by an expert-level pelvic health specialist.
A pelvic health assessment and whole-body movement analysis to identify the true drivers of the pain or dysfunction
Treatment delivered in a clinic designed for pelvic health with an emphasis on respect, privacy and safety
Holistic and evidence-based treatment designed to correct dysfunction and influence multiple body systems to achieve full recovery and healing
Patient-centered treatment programs which include self-care and movement principles to enhance wellness throughout the lifespan

We offer fitness and wellness classes, taught by therapists, focusing on special issues, such as osteoporosis, pelvic pain, pregnancy and post-partum. We believe in building a supportive clinical community where we can enjoy lifelong relationships with our patients.

Minimum requirements include:

Washington state licensed PT or OTR/L
Completion of Level 2 or 3 pelvic education series Herman and Wallace or Academy of Pelvic Health (or equivalent).
2+ years of experience treating pelvic disorders.
Desire to practice outside of the constraints of the insurance-focused care model.
Desire to teach wellness classes and develop wellness programs related to pregnancy, post-partum, osteoporosis, pelvic pain, and athletic injury prevention.

We care about our clinician’s mental and physical health and have created a more realistic working environment for our therapists. You will have paid administrative time. A full schedule includes 7-8 patients/day, dependent upon your chosen schedule. Our clinic is closed on Fridays. You will have variety in your schedule so you can teach classes and see patients.

Benefits package is flexible and are included with a 24-32 hour work week, salary range is $55+/hour with a generous bonus program, continuing education budget of $1,500 annually, 2 weeks of paid vacation and 8 separate paid annual holidays (including a float holiday). Flexible work schedules are available as well to help you achieve a better work life balance.
