Dr. Angie Maxwell, PT, DPT, WCS (she/her/hers)

Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Women’s Health Physical Therapy

Clinic Owner, Lead Physical Therapist

Angie Maxwell, PT, DPT, WCS is the clinic owner and lead physical therapist. She graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2013 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Angie is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Women’s Health Physical Therapy credentialed through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. This means she is an acknowledged expert in pelvic health physical therapy and qualified to treat the most complex cases for all genders and age groups. In her career she has worked in various hospital systems and large private practices before deciding to begin her own practice.

She opened her practice because she identified a lack of support in the community for pelvic health, especially for post-partum care and osteoporosis treatment. She is thrilled to finally realize her dream of creating a physical therapy clinic where those with pelvic health dysfunction can feel cared for and receive the specialized treatment they need.

She has advanced training in identifying pelvic floor dysfunction and treating functional and movement disorders related to pregnancy, post-partum, incontinence, sexual function, female athletics, menopause and osteoporosis/osteopenia. Angie uses a trauma-informed, emotion-focused, holistic, whole-body approach to reduce patient pain and movement dysfunction. She lives in Lakewood, WA with her husband, two children, and her Australian labradoodle, Roxy. She enjoys yoga, hiking, reading, camping, cooking, boating and dog training.
